We had a very bad experience regarding an appointment for taste testing and ordering a wedding cake. They didn't know what we were there for when we arrived and were very rude and unprofessional about the mix-up. I understood that mix ups happen, but a professional wedding vendor should work to correct mistakes and have good customer service. I was quickly informed that they were a family first and a business second and that my questioning of their unprofessionalism was an attack on their family....... A very scary thought if you are trying to work out a mix-up on the wedding day. The cakes are wonderful, but in my opinion the risk is not worth it on such an important day. I'm not saying that professional vendors don't make mistakes, because we all do. However, professional vendors should handle themselves &their business professionally and work to remedy mistakes, instead of being defensive.
